listening to the colors in my mind
I hear the yellow sound of hope
tinkling just loud enough
so I can find my way back
whenever I get lost

I hear the soft blue of comfort
humming a soothing tune
resounding in my heart
reminding me I never walk alone

I taste the sweet hue of truth
lingering upon my tongue
a taste to always season
the tales I tell myself
a rainbow of color brighten my days
and color my dreams
in a world that can be dull
whenever I forget
there is beauty behind the sound
